How to Get Traffic to New Articles on Squidoo

Your First Traffic to Your New Squidoo Article

www.sanneonsquidoo.blogspot.com
You just finished your first new article on Squidoo so how do you get it noticed?

One of the hard and fast rules on Squidoo is that you NEVER ask for people on the Squidoo site to “like” your work or to bargain and trade “likes” with other writers.

You’ll get banned quicker than you can say “Community”.

Having said this, it is quite common for writers to go back and forth and read each other’s work, so jump in and get involved.

Pick a subject that you’re interested in and SEARCH the site for articles.  Be sure to both comment and “like” the article once you’re finished reading, but if you only have to do one of these actions, choose to “like” the article.  It’s the “like” that helps advance the article’s ranking.

Once you’ve done this, the author is automatically notified of your name and actions and most authors will return the favor and read your work too.

After you’ve read the first article, try another of the author’s work.  Once you’ve read three or four articles, pick another author to read.  The more authors you visit, the more people will visit your work.  It’s a numbers game.

One of the best ways to pick your next author is to visit the comment section of the previous work you just read.  Look for recent comments because you want to work with people who are currently active on Squidoo.

Interacting with the Squidoo community will help you grow in many ways.  You’ll find people who can answer your questions, which is invaluable for Squidoo newbies, and cross-visiting will help to bring up your articles’ ranking both on Squidoo and in Google Search.
